APDU Spytools – sniff communication between SIMcard & Mobile
During the 3GSM event in Dubai few weeks ago, I got information about 2 spy tools from 2 companies:
AspectsTools (www.aspectstools.com) – an UK company & Comprion (www.comprion.com/) – an Germany Company.
Personally, I like both tools and feels that those tool will be very usefull in the future.
I was struggling to find a tool to spy communication between SIMcard and Mobile, but now if I need it,
I will contact both of them
If you like & need it, try to contact them.
One more APDU Spy available in inet:

Hello Ady. I like a lot your post and have learned a lot from it. I just wanted to share with you that googling the web I found this very cheap sniffer APDU scanner from Rebel (http://rebel-simcard-team-lauch-hex-apdu-sca.blogspot.com/2009/01/rebel-simcard-team-lauch-hex-apdu.html) Of course the main idea for this device is to help Rebel to configure their unlocking modules, the interface is also poor but you can get the information you need from it, and what you can complain for a US$25.00 price?

Abel,
Agreed, the Rebel tool does work well, but we have had difficulty deciphering the data we are getting back. Have you had success using the device without a Rebel Sim?

Hello, Yes! I’ve experience using RUIM Tools products, price is more than affordable and quality is incredible, along with nice service. If you need a professional tool to sniff into the APDU and get ready to analyse information, GreenSPY from RUIM Tools is the best option.

Hello Jack, You are right there is no way to get any useful information from the Rebel APDU Scanner without using a Rebel SIM card, this is because without the rebel SIM card the passive scanner can not be sure what is the BAUD speed of the serial communication and so it not possible to tap and scan the information at the correct pace.
