GSM Mobile Application Part (MAP) – Part 2

Let us continue with GSM MAP :) . GSM MAP Protocol consist of basic communication protocol and user-specific/special communication protocol. Basic communication protocol including:

  1. MAP-OPEN to open connection
  2. MAP-CLOSE to
  3. close connection
  4. MAP-U-ABORT/MAP-P-ABORT to abort connection
  5. MAP-DELIMITER to send user specific protocol to peer

Protocol sequence is just like this

1. Opening

4. Abort

Simply a client/user send MAP-U-ABORT or a server/provider send MAP-P-ABORT
